Façade design and fabrication for a contemporary office development in Budapest
Green Court Offices was developed in Budapest’s District XIII, within one of the most active business areas of the Váci Road office corridor. The office building forms part of a mixed-use development connected to residential, retail and community-oriented functions, making it not just a standalone office building, but part of a broader urban environment.
The concept placed strong emphasis on creating a sustainable and human-centred workplace. The landscaped courtyard, the shared urban spaces and the office functions together create an environment where the building operates not only as a workplace, but also as an active part of everyday city life.

In a modern office building, the façade is far more than the external appearance of the architecture. It defines the building’s identity, supports interior comfort, contributes to energy performance, ensures durability and strongly influences the technical quality of construction. In the case of Green Court Offices, it was therefore essential that the façade system reflect the building’s contemporary, restrained and green-oriented character.
Bim.GROUP contributed to the façade design and fabrication tasks connected to approximately 5,000 m² of façade area. The focus of the work was to deliver a façade system that supports the architectural appearance, constructability and long-term quality of the building at the same time.
bim.GROUP’s professional role was centred on the technical development of façade elements, the integration of manufacturability considerations and the support of the construction process. Coordinating design and fabrication logic was particularly important to ensure that the façade would not only function as a visual layer, but as a precisely developed building envelope system.
