The National Athletics Centre achieved fifth place in the global ranking of the Stadium of the Year vote. Thirty-five special stadiums competed for the title of best stadium, and the Hungarian pride, with 8,525 votes, surpassed other major venues with at least 10,000 seats that were also opened in 2023.

The gold-medal Brazilian football stadium, MRV Arena, received 25,125 votes; the second-placed German sports arena, BBBank Wildpark, received 21,218 votes; while the Polish football stadium ArcelorMittal Park took the third position with 14,947 votes. Thanks to enthusiastic voters, fourth place was also won by a Polish sports venue, Orlen Stadion.

The National Athletics Centre, which achieved a prominent position in the month-long online competition, already holds numerous records and honorary titles. For us, however, the greatest source of pride is that the design, fabrication and construction of the building's crown - that is, the steel roof structure and tensioned cable roof - were carried out by colleagues of KÉSZ Metaltech Kft. and KÉSZ Ipari Gyártó Kft. The steel and cable roof structure was designed by our group's strategic partner, bim.GROUP.
