Our Colleagues Delivered Another Lecture at BME!
For the third time, the bim.GROUP team was invited to contribute to the Civil Engineering Automation and Modelling course within the MSc programme in Construction Information Technology Engineering. By sharing our knowledge and practical experience, we helped the next generation of engineers learn about parametric and algorithmic design.
- Juhász Márton István introduced the fundamental concepts, definitions and software solutions.
- Lewandowski Dávid guided the students through the parametric design process using a practical example.
- Gutléber Zsolt provided a detailed introduction to the operation of Grasshopper.
During the nearly half-day programme, students gained insight into some of bim.GROUP’s most exciting parametric design solutions from recent years. These were presented through the design processes of projects such as the National Athletics Centre, the Hungexpo F1 building and the Alba Arena.
The course is delivered in English and attended by both Hungarian and international students. Throughout the semester, they work in teams of four to complete various project assignments, one of which is connected to the parametric design methods presented by our colleagues.
We look forward to seeing the innovative solutions the students develop!
